İBRAHİM YAZICI(1970- )
1970 yılında Ankara’da doğdu. 16 yaşında girdiği H.Ü. Devlet Konservatuarında Nimet Karatekin’ le piyano, Nevit Kodallı ve İstemihan Taviloğlu ile kompozisyon, Hikmet Şimşek ve Rengim Gökmen’le orkestra şefliği çalıştı ve bu okuldan yüksek lisans diploması aldı. Daha sonra Conservatoire National de Musique de Perpignan’da Claude-Phillipe Durand ile piyano, Daniel Tosi ile orkestra şefliği, Michel Lefort ile oda müziği çalıştı ve bu okulu üç “Premier Prix” alarak bitirdi. Bu okullardaki çalışmalarının yanı sıra Avrupa’nın çeşitli ülkelerinde masterclass’lara da katıldı. İngiliz Maestro Gilbert Varga ile de uzun bir süre çalıştı ve asistanlığını yaptı.
Ankara Devlet Operası’nda konuk şef olarak başladığı konser faaliyetlerini aralarında Den Haag Het Residentie, Ensemble Rezonans,Camerata de France, Bilkent Senfoni Orkestrası, Cumhurbaşkanlığı Senfoni Orkestrası, tüm Devlet Senfoni Orkestraları, 9 Eylül Senfoni ve Mersin Opera Orkestralarının da bulunduğu pekçok toplulukla yoğun bir biçimde sürdürmekte olan sanatçı Türkiye’nin yanı sıra Almanya, Fransa,Hollanda, İtalya, İspanya, Belçika, Yunanistan, Güney Kore ve Kıbrıs’ta konserler verdi ve İstanbul, Puccini (Valencia), Europäischer Musiksommer (Berlin), Bellapais (Girne) CBS (Güney Kore) festivallerinde yönetti. Yurt dışında basında konserleri hakkında övgü dolu kritikler aldı.
2001 yılından beri Fazıl Say’la aralıksız konserler yapan Yazıcı, bestecinin Metin Altıok Oratoryosu’nun ilk seslendirilişi ve cd kaydı ile “Nazım” oratoryosunun Bilkent Senfoni Orkestrası ile cd kaydını yaptı.
Birçok genç bestecimizin eserlerinin ilk seslendirilişini de gerçekleştiren sanatçı 1995-2004 yılları arasında Hacettepe Üniversitesi Devlet Konservatuarında ders verdi. 1998 yılından bu yana Devlet Çoksesli Korosunun şefliğini yapan Yazıcı aynı zamanda Bilkent Üniversitesi Müzik ve Sahne Sanatları Fakültesinde ders vermektedir.
